The wild adventure tours take you to variety of wildlife destinations throughout South India. Day 1 - Bangalore
The tour starts with Bangalore.
Day 2 - Bangalore - Bannarghatta - Bangalore
On the second day you visit Bannerghatta National Park near Bangalore. The lion safari is the main attraction at Bannerghatta National Park.
Day 3 - Bangalore - Mysore
The third day takes you to Mysore. Here you should visit Lalitha Mahal Palace. It is a grand palace and was built according to the Indo-Saracenic style in the year 1912. It possesses an opulent Durbar Hall and richly decorated rooms. The Shri Ramachamarajendra Art Gallery at the Jagmohan Palace is worth mentioning in this regard. It has some lovely Tanjore paintings in addition to portraits of the members of the royal family. These paintings were made by Raja Ravi Verma. The St Philomena's Church, which is known for its Gothic architecture is a must see. The Chamundeshwari Temple, up in the Chamundi Hills, should be visited as well. After sunset you could visit the delectable Brindavan gardens. It is here that musical fountains and lights make the gardens look like a fairyland.
Day 4 - Mysore - Ranganathittu - Mysore
The fourth day takes you to the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Here you get to watch various species of rare birds, like water birds, when they are feeding and nesting on the trees. This sanctuary is on an island right near the Cauvery River. You might as well avail boat cruises for seeing the birds from very close. Some other animals to see in the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary are crocodiles and otters.
Day 5 - Mysore - Nagarhole
During the fifth day you go to Nagarhole, which lies to south of Mysore. Here you can walk around in the surroundings of this camp. You can get to see animals such as birds, squirrels and monkeys.
Day 6 - Nagarhole
You can spend an entire day walking around the forests of the Nagarhole wildlife sanctuary. At Nagarhole you would get to see various kinds of animals like birds, squirrels, monkeys and mongoose. The tigers are normally present in the undergrowth, but the marks of their paws could be seen in the forest.
Day 7 - Nagarhole - Bandipur
On the seventh day you go to Bandipur National Park. At the Bandipur National Park the deer and monkeys graze around and can be seen in the spaces that are there between the lodges.
Day 8 - Bandipur
Bandipur is a haven for the wildlife enthusiasts. Here there are lots of varieties of birds, deer, monkeys and squirrels for seeing. You could also see Gaur or Indian Bison, elephants and tigers as well.
Day 9 - Bandipur - Ooty
The ninth day takes you to the beautiful hill resort of Ooty. Here the main tourist attractions are Botanical Garden and Doddabetta Park. There are some tea plantations close by as well.
Day 10 - Ooty
On the 10th day you can go on an excursion to the tribal village of the Todas of the Nilgiri Hills. They are a pastoral tribe and practice methods like agriculture and shepherding for example. They produce hand woven clothing and they are available in colors like red, white and black colors. They are good souvenirs.
Day 11 - Ooty - Bangalore
You can either extend the tour or terminate it.
Day 11 - Ooty - Kochi
You can go to Kochi from Ooty. In the evenings you can go and see Kathakali dance performance.
Day 12 - Kochi
There are lot of things to see in Kochi, which is the Queen of the Arabian Sea. The Jewish Synagogue is a main attraction. It is decorated with white and blue Chinese Tiles in the year 1568. St Francis Church is the oldest European Church in India. It was built in 1503. The spice markets and the Dutch Palace at Matancherry are other attractions of Kochi. The history and surroundings of Kochi are awe inspiring.
Day 13 - Kochi - Periyar
The 13th day takes you to Periyar.
Day 14 - Periyar
The Periyar National Park is the main attraction at Periyar. There are boat cruises at Periyar Lake, which can be taken to see the animals when they arrive at the edge of the lake for drinking and bathing. The elephants, arriving in groups, present a lovely scene, when they play and drink.
Day 15 - Periyar - Kovalam
The 15th day takes you to Kovalam, which is among the major beaches of India.
Day 16 - Kovalam
There are a lot of things to do in Kovalam Beach. Here you can chill out and bathe in the sun. you can take ayurvedic massages, participate in water sports or swim. Some of the major water sports options, available at Kovalam beach, are surfing, wind surfing, sailing, catamaran rides and parasailing.
Day 17 - Kovalam - Cape Comorin - Kovalam
You can go to Cape Comorin for an excursion for a day.
Day 18 - Kovalam - Trivandrum - Delhi / Bombay
The journey comes to an end on the 18th day. You can go to Delhi or Bombay from Trivandrum.
